USING THE WIX OWNER APP TO CREATE TREATMENTS

The Wix Owner app is designed to help you create, manage and grow your business on the go. Use the Wix Owner app to showcase what your business has to offer and communicate with your site members directly.


How to Add Treatments from the Wix Owner App


Wix Bookings lets customers book your services through their member app (Spaces by Wix, Fit by Wix) or on your desktop site


To add Wix Bookings from the Wix Owner app:


  1. Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.

  2. Tap Manage at the bottom.

  3. Tap Manage Apps.

  4. Tap Add next to Bookings under Business.


  1. (Optional) Add the app to your desktop site:

    1. Go to your site Editor on desktop.

    2. Click the Add Apps icon.

    3. Click the Manage Apps tab.

    4. Click Add to Site next to Wix Bookings.






Manually booking an appointment for a client

Book clients in for appointments while you're on the go, using the Wix Owner app. This is a great way to offer clients the best experience possible when you meet them in person or are speaking to them over the phone.

To manually book an appointment for a client:


  1. Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.

  2. Tap Manage at the bottom.

  3. Tap Booking Calendar.

  4. Tap the Add icon at the top right.

  5. Tap Appointment.

  6. Select a client:

    1. Tap Choose next to Client.

    2. Select an existing client, or tap + Add New Contact to add a new client.


  1. Select an appointment type from the Service drop-down.

  2. Choose a staff member from the Staff Member drop-down.

  3. (Optional) Choose the relevant place under Service Location.

  4. Select when the appointment takes place under Date & Time. Tip: If the chosen staff member is busy, tap Choose a free time slot to see when they're available.

  5. (Optional) Tap the Repeats drop-down to create a recurring appointment:

    1. Choose how often the appointment repeats.

    2. Tap the For drop-down and select the total times the appointment repeats.

    3. Tap Select.


Managing Your Bookings


Manage your bookings on the go, directly from the Wix Owner app on your phone. You can schedule new sessions, reschedule existing ones or block off time to prevent clients from booking when you're not available.


Checking your upcoming sessions in the Booking Calendar. Access your Booking Calendar from the Wix Owner app, to view and organize your sessions on the go. There are different views to choose from, depending on your personal preference. Tap on any booking to see the details, including the participant list, time and date.

To check your upcoming sessions in the Booking Calendar:

Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.

  1. Tap Manage at the bottom.

  2. Tap Booking Calendar.

  3. Choose from the following calendar views, depending on your needs:



Schedule view

This is a convenient way to book clients in for their next session. All upcoming sessions appear one after the other, regardless of the time between them (e.g. if your business closes on weekends, sessions on Fridays and Mondays will appear next to each other).

  1. Tap the Change View icon at the top right.

  2. Tap Schedule to see a list of upcoming sessions.

  3. (Optional) Select the relevant location(s) under View by Location at the bottom. Note: This option only appears if you offer services in multiple locations.


Day view

Use this view to see all upcoming sessions for a given day. In this view, all time slots appear, including empty ones. This is useful when booking clients in for appointments or when creating new services.

  1. Tap the Change View icon at the top right.

  2. Tap Day view to see a list of upcoming sessions.

  3. (Optional) Select the relevant location(s) under View by Location at the bottom. Note: This option only appears if you offer services in multiple locations.


Three day view

Use this view to see all upcoming sessions for over a three day period. This is great for scheduling new bookings, especially during busy periods.

  1. Tap the Change View icon at the top right.

  2. Tap 3 day view.

  3. (Optional) Select the relevant location(s) under View by Location at the bottom. Note: This option only appears if you offer services in multiple locations.


Blocking off time using the Wix Owner App

If you or a staff member is going to be unavailable, block the time off your calendar to prevent clients from booking your services.


To block off time using the Wix Owner app:

  1. Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.

  2. Tap Manage at the bottom.

  3. Tap Booking Calendar.

  4. Tap the Calendar tab at the top.

  5. Tap the Add a Session icon at the top right.

  6. Tap Blocked time.

  7. (If relevant) Select the staff member whose time you want to block from the drop-down.

  8. Select a start date and time.

  9. Select an end date and time.

  10. (Optional) Tap Notes to add a note (not visible to clients).

  11. Tap Block to save your changes.
